Cheating on one’s mate is not a new phenomena. And I won’t even get in to what happens to a marriage or relationship when one is caught cheating. We all know that usually means someone’s getting their butt booted from the house. What I want to know is, when a guy — or a woman, for that matter — decides to step outside their marriage, what is the criteria they are looking for in the person they plan to cheat with? I realize that sometimes extra-marital affairs happen just out of a physical attraction to another person. But there are those who go out looking for someone to just fool around with without rhyme or reason.
I’m curious to know what criteria must someone meet to be the oh-so-lucky woman a man decides to lie to? And please, in most of these cases, the woman has been lied to. I don’t believe for one minute that the majority of women who find themselves involved with married men knew from the beginning what they were getting into.
In case you’re wondering: No, I haven’t found myself involved with a married man. But I know someone who has, and it baffled me that this man actually decided for some reason that this woman would accept getting involved with him after he told her he was married. Why? Is there a certain way a woman wears her watch that says “I date married men?” Or perhaps she wears two earrings in one ear, and one in the other. When he looked at this woman, what exactly did he see that made him think she would think it acceptable to a.) be a possible party in destroying a family, or b.) think sloppy seconds was a turn on?
Do guys who cheat stop and think about the consequences of this action should they be caught? Or do they think they’ll be able to talk their way out of trouble with the wife? Do they think about what will happen when the woman they’re cheating with finds out their married? You know the saying about scorned women. And I won’t even start on what happens if there’s children involved.
Most of all, I’m just really curious to know how cheating men pick the women they’re going to cheat with. Or do they not pick them at all, but throw the hook out there, and see how many, if any, take the bait? I mean, why stop at just one, right? If you’re going to have your protruding parts lopped off by the wife, might as well make it worthwhile, eh?
